September 21, 2014 – Tough Mudder @ Michigan Speedway

After almost seven months of training the date arrived. Thanks to Pat for inviting me and giving me a goal to get in shape. Thanks to Pat and Todd – Great Team – “We Got the Runs!!!” Great Time!

Almost 2 miles in – first obstacle –

Walk the Plank

Hold your wood – (for about a ½ mile) –

Devil’s beard – more mud hills and a net over top

7 ½ miles in - Lake stroll and go under some barrels

10 miles in - Funky Monkey conquered – (Pat, Eric, then Todd)

Balls to the Wall

Cheer squad at 11 miles … (skies darkening)

Run through a drain pipe…
